Tradition holds that when her parents buried her, a bluish halo appeared around her head, seen as a divine sign to bury her on that spot and raise a small chapel. According to her words, the monastery was named "Nimnik" in honor of Saint Nikolina's divine presence.

It's fascinating to note that about 25 years ago, the late abbess Efrosimija opened the grave of Saint Nikolina to inspect the condition of her remains. The preserved skin, hair, nails, and eyelashes were intact, while only the dress had decayed.
